I'm going to be observing my younger brother playing video games and his reaction to each game he plays. This is a project for my A.P. English class.
On the first day i was observing Jerry, he was playing Gta 5 and for people how don't know what the acronym stands for, it's Grand Theft Auto.
Jerry had started a new game and he was doing the first couple of missions and then he got to a mission where it involved one of the main characters taking a rich guys car and when the cut-scene was over he screamed at the the top of his lungs "Oh My God, I love this mission" and the fact that he said it in a really girly way made me feel strange because i wasn't expecting it from him because he is very serious. After a couple of hours playing, Jerry didn't really do much. He just sat there and stared blankly at the TV and he would occasionally fix his posture and a sigh. Jerry would always stare back at me when he did something good, but he wouldn't smile or anything.I think he did this as a way to confirm that i was paying attention and to show a sense of pride. At 8:00 at night he gave on last, deep sigh and saved the game and got off.
